Account Deletion Request
How users of the MaintainIt app can request deletion of their account and associated data.
Joining the public MaintainIt beta signup form does not create an
in-app account. If you want your beta interest email removed before
app access is available, contact the developer using the email
listed below.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the MaintainIt app.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, the deletion process is intended to permanently remove your account and associated app data.
Data that is deleted
- Your user profile stored in Firestore
- Your assets
- Your maintenance tasks
- Your maintenance log entries
- Your uploaded asset and maintenance log photos
- Your Firebase Authentication account
Data that may be retained temporarily
- Temporary backups or service logs
- Limited records retained if required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes
If retained, this data is generally kept only for a limited period reasonably necessary for backup recovery, legal compliance, or security purposes.
